In the summer months, last week of May to the first week of September, we require a two night minimum stay.  If we have single night stay slots, we will open them up as our calendar presents them to us.  You can see the availability of each room in their description pages.  If you have a particular date you are interested in booking, please send us an email at, with your name and date request, to keep in our cancelation call list.

Cancelation policy:

At time of booking, you will be charged a 50% deposit of your stay.  If canceled 5 days or more before arrival date of stay, you will receive a 50% refund on all prepaid payments.  If canceled 5 days or less before arrival date, you will receive 0% refund.  If canceled day of arrival or no show, you will be charged the entire reservation amount.  All final payments are collected the day before arrival.   

We are a small, 4 room inn and do not have the ability to absorb last minute cancelations.  Thank you for your understanding.  

Pet Policy:

We love all of our furry friends, but ONLY DOGS are allowed in the Aspen Inn.  We allow up to 3 dogs in a room.  Every dog, including service dogs, must pay for their pet fee for cleaning purposes.  There is a $35/pet/stay fee.  You will find this in the add-on section of the booking process.  

**If you do not include your pet in the booking process and you are caught with an unaccounted pet, we reserve the right to charge a $150 fee.  

**If you are traveling with a pet other than a dog, please call (719) 470-5775 to discuss options.  We may allow other animals to stay with an additional damage deposit to ensure that our inn is respected and kept clean.  

**If you are planning to leave your pets in the room while exploring Creede, please make sure your pets are comfortable being left alone in the room and will not bark constantly. 


The Aspen Inn is found on the 2nd floor of the Old Firehouse at 123 Main Street, Creede, Co.  There is no elevator in the building.  There are 26 stairs and they are steep.  If you have limited mobility, we do not recommend staying with us as the stairs are challenging, especially at 8800 ft elevation.  

**If you need help with luggage, we are more than happy to assist you.  You will receive a text the day of arrival with check in instructions.  Respond to our hostess, Rhonda, and let her know that you would like assistance upon arrival and estimated arrival time. 


All of the rooms have a private bathroom.  There is no TV in any of the rooms.  They all have access to WIFI, the Spring Suite is the furthest from the modem and occasionally has issues.  The Fall Suite is at the very end of the hallway next to the balcony, there are privacy shades for the room.
